I’m currently working on the AY 2015/2016 schedule for the International Methods Colloquium, and I can already say that we’re going to be hosting a number of very interesting and exciting research presentations on a wide variety of topics. We’re also working on hosting roundtable discussions of issues of interest to the methods community, such as job opportunities inside and outside of academia. But we still have openings for those who are interested in presenting their scholarship to a broad community of researchers around the world!
For those who don’t know, the International Methods Colloquium is an online seminar series that hosts talks from quantitative political and social scientists each week at noon (Eastern time) on Friday. Our talks are freely available to anyone with a computer, tablet, or phone and an internet connection. If you’d like to present your research as a part of the IMC, you can sign up at this link or contact me directly at justin@justinesarey.com. The link asks you for your contact information and the topic on which you wish to present (including a short abstract describing your project).
If you’re interested, please be sure to sign up as soon as possible; I’m starting to put together the schedule now, so the available dates will become more restricted as time goes on.
